About Erik

My wife, Karen, and I have lived in Oconomowoc for over 15 years, raising our two incredible kids, Josh and Emily.  Family and faith have always been at the core of our lives.  Both of our children attended St. Jerome Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade, where Karen was an English teacher for much of their time there.  Today, she continues her passion for education at another Catholic school.  Josh and Emily have built on their strong foundation and are now both students at Marquette University’s Business School, something we couldn’t be prouder of.

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors.  Whether it’s running, biking, deer hunting, or camping in Wisconsin’s beautiful state parks, I love being active and taking in the natural beauty of our state—Devil’s Lake, in particular, has always been a family favorite.

Beyond that, Karen and I are also passionate about giving back to our faith community.  As catechists for St. Bruno/St. Paul Parish, we spend our weekends helping children grow in their Catholic faith, something that is truly meaningful to us.  It’s important to us to lead by example, instilling the values of service, integrity, and leadership in both our own family and the broader community.
